Navajo Head Start brings its recruiting event to the Navajo Nation Museum on the 12th of June. From 10am to 2pm NHS will be enrolling potential students and also answering questiong to those interested in becoming NHS staff. Please see our link below for more...

Navajo Head Start is hosting a Recruitment events to recruit staff as well as performing enrollments for pregnant women to children up to 5yrs old. See the link below for more information and a list of dates for the recruiting events.

Navajo Head start is now enrolling for both Early head start and regular Head Start. Enrollment is available for individuals ranging from pregnant women to Children the age of 5.

On Feb 28th a Parent Training on understanding Child Development will be hosted at Fire Rock Casino Conference room.

February 27th we are collaborating with UNM -ECSC to present an in-person Parent training for the NHS parents of Nenahezad Chapter.

The fourth session of parent training in the Positive Dine Curriculum Will be happening on the 23rd of January from 9am to 11am.

Navajo Head Start will be celebrating Native American Heritage week by asking our staff and patrons to participate in the various days by wearing something specific to a day in the week.(ex. Navajo Hair bun Monday) There are even activities that can be done at home...

Well be having training for parents on June 8th and June 13th respectively. They will cover Transition to Preschool to Kindergarten and the other is the 8th session in our Positive Indian Parenting series.

Various events are happening in this week of April to celebrate the week of the young child. From Music Monday to Family Friday we have events for our communities to take part in.
